Louise qualified from the University of Bristol in 2003 and joined the practice in August 2016. She currently works part time at the Practice in her Clinical Director role. At home she enjoys spending time riding her horses.
Sarah qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2006 and joined Beechwood in 2008, predominantly based at our Beeston surgery. Medical cases are her particular interest but she enjoys all aspects of first opinion veterinary work. Outside of work her young family keep her busy, but if she gets some free time she enjoys hill walking and playing badminton.
Neil qualified in 1978 and joined Beechwood for the first 18 months of his career. 10 years living and working in South Africa followed, before he returned to Yorkshire and Beechwood in 1988. He can usually be found at our Temple House branch.
Kelly volunteered at Beechwood from the age of 13, and joined full-time straight from school in 1992. She qualified as a nurse in 1998, before becoming practice manager in 2004, although she still keeps her hand in as a nurse by helping out in surgery if needed! At home she enjoys travelling in the Camper Van, gardening and playing on the Playstation.
James graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2016 and joined Beechwoods in 2018. He completed a certificate in small animal surgery in 2021, having a special interest in this area. In his spare time he loves to get outdoors with his Labrador Retriever, Riley.
After graduating from Universidade de Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro, in Portugal, Catarina moved to the UK, joined Beechwood in September 2017. She has two feline fur babies, Charlie and Martini, who keep her on her toes. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, live music and long weekend walks with her dog, Bruce.
Becky graduated from the RCVS in 2017 and moved to Yorkshire that summer, with now husband James. In July 2022 she completed her certificate in dermatology and is now working towards her advanced practitioner status! She now runs specific skin clinics at our Temple House branch. Outside of work Becky loves baking and walking with James and Labrador Riley. Her current challenge is walking all the Wainwrights in the Lake District
Ania Morley MRCVS joined the team at Temple House in January 2023. This means our Medicine, Cardiology and Ultrasonography service will be expanding
Ania graduated in 2007 from Wroclaw University of Environmental Sciences in Poland where she did post graduate training in the imaging department and has loved veterinary imaging ever since
On top of that, Ania has completed a post grad certificate in small animal medicine and also in cardiology
Becki graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2017 and joined Beechwood in January 2023. She has a particular interest in medicine and is usually found at the Temple House and Headingley branches. Outside of work she has four budgies to keep her busy and also enjoys walking, crafting and a good book!
Barbara Joined the team in Janaury 24
Alice graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2022 and joined Beechwood Vets in September 2022 as her first job. Having relocated from Cumbria, Yorkshire now feels like a home away from home and she is enjoying all aspects of the job. Outside of work, she loves walking, cooking and travelling whenever possible!”

Sarah joined the team in 1994, initially working on reception before training as a nurse, qualifying in 2005. She became head nurse at our Chapel Allerton branch in 2017 and then moved to the Temple House surgery in May 2022. Sarah became Nursing Team Leader and enjoys organising the mornings operations list, monitoring anaesthetics and running nurse clinics, as well as catching up with the familiar faces of our lovely clients on reception.
Marcia qualified from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança in Portugal in 2012 and became a registered nurse in 2016, one year after moving to the UK. She has been working part-time since becoming a mum in 2017 – her lovely daughter also loves animals! They have a little cat called Luna, as well as cat Shaka and boxer Zulu back home in Portugal.
Jane qualified in 1990 and joined Beechwood in 2004, having spent time working in practices at home and abroad, from Gibraltar, Kenya and Michigan to Cambridgeshire and the West Country. She is particularly interested in dog and cat behaviour.
Angie qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2011 and joined Beechwood July 2014. She enjoys working at our Garforth branch as it is busy, with lovely pets and clients and a close-knit team. Her interests include her family, cooking, walking the dogs and horse riding.
Georgina started at Beechwood in June 2018 as a trainee veterinary nurse. She has always had a passion to work with animals and intends to go on to do further certificates to further her career as a nurse. Outside of work she enjoys lazy movie days and socialising.
Nadine has worked at Beechwood since August 2020 as a VCA and started training as a veterinary nurse in April 2021. She qualified as an RVN in December 23. She loves all aspects of her job, but her main interests are lab work and scrubbing into surgery’s. When she’s not at work she’s kept company by her 2 crazy cats, a panther chameleon and many tropical fish and frogs!
Amina qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2022 and joined Beechwood in April 2024. She loves all aspects of her job, but her main interest is dental care and consultations. When she is not at work she is kept company by her dog Nordman or is out gardening
Will has been working at Beechwood since July 2024, as a soon-to-be-qualified RVN enjoys all aspects of the job, with a particular interest in surgical nursing and consults. Will studied animal management at Askham Bryan College for 2 years before spending a further 3 years studying Veterinary Nursing. Outside of work you can find Will spending quality time with his Labrador, Millie, and calico cat, Kiki, as well as travelling and having fun with friends at various music festivals throughout the year. He looks forward to meeting you and all your pets at the practice!
Joely has worked at beechwood since June 2020 as a VCA and started training as a veterinary nurse in April 2022 becoming qualified in October 24. She loves all aspects of her job, but her main interests are theatre and surgery. Outside of work you will either find her competing her horse, walking the dogs, or helping on the farm!
Cathy joined the Practice in March 2022 as a VCA/Trainee Nurse
Alyssa has been working here since November 2022, she loves doing lab work and spending time in kennels and cattery. She has previously achieved her animal nursing assistant diploma hopes to be a Vet nurse in the future. She loves photography and going on long walks with her crazy dog Gracie.
Claire has been with Beechwood since Sept 21 and is based at our Beeston branch where she is both receptionist and veterinary care assistant. Claire has been in and out of veterinary work since 1990 and is thrilled to be getting back into it properly now with us. She has completed her Veterinary Care Assistant course says it is a dream come true getting back to work with animals and loves coming into work every day. When she’s not at work she’s kept company by her beautiful Doberman Lola and lots of tropical fish
Vicky started working Beechwood vets in 2021. She always wanted to work with animals and has a foundation degree in animal health and welfare. She enjoy meeting clients and their pets and loves the veterinary care assistant part of her role. In her free time she enjoys walking her very excitable dog ‘Prim’. She also enjoy going up and down the country judging and showing Syrian and dwarf hamsters. She also like the slightly more unusual pets and as well as prim and the hamsters has the pleasure of keeping 3 green cheek conures, a budgie, a bearded dragon, 14 tarantulas and tropical fish!
Kerry did two weeks of work experience at Beechwood in 1992, and fell in love with veterinary nursing, qualifying in 1997. She joined the nursing team in 2006 and is now part of our administration team, mainly focusing on processing our patient Insurance claims. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling with her husband and close friends.
Nicola started at Beechwood in 2013 as a part time receptionist at our Crossgates branch. Over the years she slowly started increasing her hours to full time and was promoted to Senior Receptionist in January 2022. Nicola started as Administration Assistant in July 2022 at Temple House. Alongside doing administration Nicola is also our Health & Safety officer. Out of work Nicola loves been out in the countryside for long walks with her partner on a weekend and holidays abroad with her family, especially in Greece. Nicola has recently added a new addition to her family, a lovely but crazy cat called Cali.
Andrea joined the practice in 2014 after being a client at our Chapel Allerton branch since she was 6 years old. She qualified as Beechwoods first RAMA in 2018 and in 2022 became the Reception Team Leader based at our Temple House site. She is responsible for all the reception teams and in November 22 she became a Registered Veterinary Receptionist after completing 3 courses to achieve this award. Outside of work she has a labrador, a cocker spaniel, a rabbit and a tropical fish tank. She enjoys getting out and about discovering new places to walk with her dogs.
Kerri joined Beechwood Veterinary Group in January 2017. She enjoys her job as she likes to meet new clients and their pets! She loves spending quality time with her family, socialising with friends, reading and going for long walks with her Rottweiler Roxy.
Helen has been with Beechwood since 2004 and has worked at all the branches as a receptionist. Her hobbies are yoga, music concerts and festivals and she has a passion for keeping small animals, especially hamsters as pets. Helen is also one of our reception team members to have completed further training and holds the Silver Level Accredited Receptionist Award.
Chey joined Beechwood in 2019 and really enjoys her job, especially interacting with the patients! In her spare time she enjoys taking her dog Belle for long walks, as well as being outdoors with her horse Dolly.

Jeanette started at Beechwood Vets in November 2021, the Job was a complete change for her after working within the Media for many years. Jeanette likes meeting a variety of people and contact with many of the clients animals. In her spare time she spends it with her little ” sidekick ” Sophia her granddaughter. She has a cat called Hugo
