Veterinary Surgeon - Fixed Term Contract for 6-9 months

As one of our Vets heads off on her travels for a sabbatical we are looking for a Vet to cover this position for a Fixed term of 6 month.  There is a very good possibility that this FTC will extend to 9 months with a possible permanent position at the end of the Fixed Term period.

Our main site in Seacroft consists of 5 consults rooms, nurse consult room, bereavement room, separate dog and cat wards, 3 operating theatres, xray suite, dental suite (with dental Xray) and Ultrasound Suite.  We also hold Silver ISFM status.

We also have sites in Beeston, Chapel Allerton, Headingley and Garforth.

You would be joining a Practice that prides itself on our supportive culture and our 15 vets and 12 RVN team are supported by a number of TVNs and VCA's in the growing Practice.  

This is a full time Fixed Term contract (part time may be considered) and the working pattern is:

3 x 8.30am-6.30pm shifts and 1 x 8.30am-8.30pm shift each week

You would also share the weekend work which is on a rota of approx one Saturday or full weekend in every 6-7 weeks, Shifts 8.30am-6.30pm - time off in lieu for weekend days worked is given the following week.

Holiday entitlement - 6.6 weeks per holiday year
RCVS/VDS and one other membership paid annually
Heath shield/EAP membership
