One of our lovely vets will shortly be hearing the patter of tiny feet and so we are looking for a kind and caring veterinary surgeon to join our 4 (hopefully soon to be 5) site, small animal practice in Leeds.
This is a permanent position (due to our expansion) and would suit a vet with some experience, who is looking to provide a high standard of patient and client care as part of a friendly and supportive team.
You would be joining 14 vets, who have a variety of special interests and certificates and are supported by an excellent team of nurses and receptionists. The practice is well equipped with all the usual toys, and is proud to be both a nurse training practice and a host practice for final year Surrey veterinary students.
You would be joining us at an exciting time as we are in the process of expanding the practice and are hoping to open a new site, (complete with additional consulting rooms, operating theatres and a dental suite, separate dog and cat wards and a dedicated ultrasound room) in 2021.
We believe in a good work-life balance. Our full-time rota is a 4 day week (one 11 hour shift and three 9 hour shifts) and weekends are around one every 5, with 2 days given off the following week after a weekend worked. We could consider a job share role if you are looking for part-time work.
We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, 6.6 weeks holiday. RCVS, one other membership and VDS fees are covered and CPD is encouraged and supported.
